These terms govern your use of the Ninth.vc platform. We've written them to be clear and direct - please read them before using the service.

Acceptance of Terms
Agreement to these terms
By accessing or using Ninth.vc, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the platform. These terms apply to all users - founders, investors, and administrators.
Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Eligibility
Who can use Ninth.vc
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into binding agreements on behalf of yourself or your organization. The platform is intended for professional use in connection with startup fundraising and venture capital investment activities.
Account responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at security@ninth.vc if you suspect unauthorized access.
Platform Use
Permitted use
You may use Ninth.vc to upload pitch decks, receive AI-generated analysis, discover investor matches, communicate with counterparties, and manage your fundraising or deal flow activities - all in accordance with these terms.
Prohibited conduct
You may not use the platform to upload false or misleading information, impersonate another person or entity, attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape the platform, circumvent security measures, or engage in any activity that violates applicable law.
Content standards
All content you upload must be accurate to the best of your knowledge. You represent that you have the right to share any materials you upload and that doing so does not violate any third-party rights, confidentiality obligations, or applicable regulations.
Intellectual Property
Your content
You retain ownership of all content you upload to Ninth.vc, including pitch decks, company information, and communications. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process, analyze, and display that content solely to provide the service.
Our platform
The Ninth.vc platform, including its AI models, matching algorithms, design, and software, is owned by Fahrenheit Research LLC and protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without our written permission.
Feedback
If you provide feedback or suggestions about the platform, you grant us the right to use that feedback without restriction or compensation. We appreciate your input and use it to improve the service.
AI Analysis & Matching
Nature of AI outputs
The analysis, scores, and match results generated by our AI are informational tools, not investment advice. They reflect patterns in data and should be used as one input among many in your decision-making process.
No guarantee of outcomes
We do not guarantee that using Ninth.vc will result in funding, investment, or any particular business outcome. Match scores indicate compatibility based on available data - they are not endorsements or predictions.
Data used for analysis
By uploading a pitch deck, you consent to our AI systems processing its content to generate analysis and match results. We do not use your deck content to train AI models for third parties without your explicit consent.
Credits & Payments
Credit system
Certain platform operations consume credits. Credits are purchased in advance and are non-refundable once consumed. The credit cost of each operation is displayed before you initiate it.
Billing
All fees are in USD. We use third-party payment processors and do not store your payment card information. Disputes about charges must be raised within 30 days of the transaction.
Disclaimers & Liability
Service provided as-is
The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular result will be achieved.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fahrenheit Research LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fahrenheit Research LLC and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the platform or violation of these terms.
Termination
Your right to terminate
You may close your account at any time by contacting support@ninth.vc. Upon termination, your access to the platform will cease and your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Our right to terminate
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we are required to do so by law. We will provide notice where reasonably practicable.
Governing Law
Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
